MINISTER
Bro. Rodney Langley
began as full-time minister on July 6, 2008. He comes to Groveton
from Harrisburg, AR where he was serving as a deacon in his congregation
there. He had been actively doing fill-in, interim preaching and youth
meetings since October 2000. Bro. Langley has preached at
congregations in Romance, Keiser, Harrisburg, and Cherry Valley, AR.
Bro. Langley has been married for 11 years to
wife Lesa, a 4th grade teacher at Corrigan-Camden Elementary. They have two children, Luke
(7), and Becca (5). Rodney and Lesa were both actively involved
with the congregation in Harrisburg. Lesa regularly taught bible classes
and Rodney taught both adult and teen classes.
Bro. Langley graduated from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro
in December 1996 with a BA degree in Political Science and a minor in
Mathematics. He is currently studying towards a Master of
Religious Studies degree through Nations University (Brentwood, TN) and
is enrolled at East Texas Bible School, Lufkin, TX.
